Philosophers' dwelling

The Château presents spendid sculptured stone-coffered ceillings and monumental Renaissance fireplaces.

This stone, said to be "Universal Medicine", straight or in a spirituous dissolution healed many incurable diseases. Fermental with gold or silver it permitted the transmutation of the metals.
Current works of KERVRAN establish the intertransmutations of sodium, calcium, potassium ans silica. The alchemy gets a new importance and this fireplace is a monument of an inestimable value.
FULCANELLI, in his work the "Philosophers' dwellings" dedicates a few pages to this fireplace...
